Following years of work with ESL clients, the Director of TPS and our editing staff have found that even the most professional researchers will often make the same, glaring mistakes in the writing of English journal submissions and academic papers. We, therefore, decided that it would be useful for us to bring together our experience and create an easy to read e-book where readers and aspiring academics will find detailed explanations of what common mistakes to avoid in their writing. This e-book is free; simply click on the link below to apply. We hope you enjoy the insights within and welcome any further suggestions or comments you might have.

10 Common Writing Errors That Can Spell “Rejection” for Your Manuscript

Every academic wants to get published in the top international academic journals. Many scholars focus all of their energy on producing exceptional research, and have little time or energy to spend refining their English writing. Unfortunately, the impact of even revolutionary research is diminished when a manuscript contains language errors. As the number of errors in a paper increases, the acceptance rate decreases.

Recognizing and correcting English errors in your paper takes time, but the time is well spent if it results in a published manuscript. This booklet examines 10 common errors made in English writing. To give your paper the best possible chance of publication, avoid these kinds of mistakes. Each of the 10 errors is first illustrated in a sample sentence and then explained.

2.     Keep Track of the Primary Subject

“Martha Rigley, along with several other well known biologists, have documented the effectiveness of EDTA Chelation for the treatment of clogged arteries.”

This is a tricky problem that appears in many variations.  To continue reading Subscribe now for your
