We are always looking for experienced editors to join the TPS team. If you are interested, please first check if you meet the criteria below:
- North American English Speaker
We require that our editors have grown up and studied in the US or Canada through at least the collegiate level. This is due to the fact that our clients almost always write in American English and prefer their documents to be corrected with the same. Having lived in Taiwan and/or having a solid understanding of Taiwanese culture and customs is a plus.
- Editing Experience
We ask that potential editors have at least 5-10 years experience in either the field of editing and/or academia. With a solid academic background and plentiful work experience, we can be confident that you will bring a quality of work to your editing that our clients have come to expect.
- Professional Background
We also encourage those with a solid professional background in the arts, medicine, science, mathematics, or law to apply. As each field has its own professional jargon and style of writing, we are always looking for those who have experience in fields outside of the humanities to join the TPS team.
Good talent is hard to find. That’s why at TPS we make an effort to retain our editing staff with flexible working hours and competitive pay packages.
